EDUCATION

Dr. Ross obtained his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He has been elected to both Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi.

VER 25 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE 
Dr. Lawrence Ross graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Philosophy from the State University of New York at Stonybrook. He earned his Master’s Degree from the New School for Social Research with a focus on Developmental Child Psychology and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Dr. Ross obtained his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. He has been elected to both Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi.

Dr. Ross is currently in private practice, serving Norfolk, Virginia and surrounding areas. He has been in practice for over 25 years. His work with clients includes the following modalities:

In 2008, Dr. Ross co-founded a weekly internet radio show called Mind Matters. The show addresses various psychological topics including the impact of divorce on the family.

Dr. Ross is a fully trained and certified member of IACP(International Academy of Collaborative Practice) and a founding member of The Collaborative Divorce Center of Coastal Virginia. Within the Collaborative Model, Dr. Ross serves as a Divorce Coach, Communication Specialist, and Child Specialist, helping to promote peaceful, equitable and amicable divorce and dispute resolution without litigation. Both parents and children experience less trauma through the use of the Collaborative Model.
